Cascade Clamps - Established in Portland, Oregon in 1943, the Cascade Manufacturing Company started as a small machine shop employing only four people. Overall sales for that year totaled $60,000. The first recorded sales revenues involved the machining and assembly of stainless-steel pipe fittings, valves and other parts. Within five years of operation, the company had stretched to 40 employees and their annual sales volume had increased to $330,000. Today, Cascade is amongst the top worldwide makers within the material handling business.

Production and design of the company's very first hydraulic cylinder paved the way in Cascade's aggressive pursuit of better business opportunities. Over the last 60 years, the material handling industry has grown into a highly advanced area and Cascade has proudly performed a part on this growth. In the 1950's, Cascade began designing, fabricating and selling hydraulic accessories. The company altered its name to Cascade Corporation in 1964. In 1965, Cascade went public with a preliminary offering of 200,000 shares of common stock. The company has expanded its production plants within the U.S. with locations in Springfield, Ohio, Warner Robins, Georgia, Portland, Oregon. Cascade merchandise are manufactured worldwide because of a lot of subsidiary operations. In the year 1944, a new plant was accomplished in Almere, the Netherlands which is Cascade's European head office. This facility is built to be the ultimate customer support centre.
